| QUESTION: I have 2005 VTXR. I don't use a backrest except on long trip. Will this bracket work with or without the backrest?If only one or the othere I need the number for the one without a backrest. Thanks Lea |
| ANSWER: Hey Lea,
If you purchase this particular part number, the bolts will not be long enough to accommodate the mounting hardware for the backrest. We would recommend purchasing the bracket kit for your bike with a backrest so that they will work whether the backrest is on or off. What kind of backrest do you have? As soon as we get that information we can get you the correct part number.

| QUESTION: I have a 2008 vtx 1800N, I have Cavalry Fiberglass Saddlebags that measure L-26",H-13" and W-9" so will these brackets work with these bags or do you recomend a different bracket? And please give me the Part # so i order the correct bracket. Thanks Bryan |
| ANSWER: Hello,
Yes the Edge Quick Release Saddlebags brackets will work out great for you and they specifically make a 0 degree bracket that is designed just for fiberglass saddlebags. Before we can get you the correct part number we need to figure out if you have a backrest installed, and if so which kind it is?

| ANSWER: No it will not , you need GB-H-VTXRNBK-106 , Standard 2 front bolt setup, No turn signal relocation required. Hondaline Neo-Retro Backrests installed on front two bolts ONLY. For use with large saddlebags 20" or more in width. Thanks
