| QUESTION: What cable changes have to be done for the K-205? Can I order the cables and needed items with the risers? |
| ANSWER: Hi,
Everything you need to install the K-205 risers is included with the kit. The brake hose will have to be changed and we supply the longer hose. The throttle cable will need to be re-routed and a bracket will need to be installed to lengthen the choke cable.
Thank you,

| QUESTION: just purchsed a2006 concours and see at the get-go that a set of risers are a must. If I should choose the #K-205 model how extensive are the modifications to control, cables, etc.???? |
| ANSWER: Hi,
You will have to replace the brake line with the longer line that is supplied with the risers. Also, you will have to re-route the throttle cable requiring that you remove the gas tank and seat. All other modifications are minimal. All in all it is not a difficult installation but a little time consuming.
Thank you,

| QUESTION: I have a 2006 Concours, and I can't stand to lean over the tank. Which risers would make the bike more comfortable to ride? I have 900 miles on it and about ready to sell it. |
| ANSWER: We have two different heights for the Concours. Our K-105 risers will raise the bars up 1 1/4" and bring them back toward the rider about 3/4". The K-105s do not require any changes to the control cables. We also carry part # K-205 which will rise the bars up 2" and back 1 1/4". This model does require some changes to the control cables but we be the more comfortable of the two options.

| QUESTION: I have a 2005 Concours that routinely makes my hands go numb (after only about 15 miles). For this reason I only have about 472 miles on this bike. Will these risers fix the problem? |
| ANSWER: Hi,
You have a common complaint with the Concours. Generally, the risers make it to where you can ride a tank of gas out of the bike without your hands starting to fall asleep.

| QUESTION: I have a 1998 concours. My bike has valve stem on the top of the forks. How does that work with the risers.
Thanks,
Don |

The risers are hollow in the middle and will fit over the preload adjusters. There is a removable cap on top of the risers that gives you access to the adjusters without having to remove the handlebars.
