The risers are placed between the fork crown and the handlebars to raise the bars up 1" (25mm). This will help to relieve wrist and neck pain on long rides. Requires no change of any control cables, wiring, or hoses.

Our K-109 risers will not fit the 97 ZX6-R. However, our K-110 risers will without any changes to the control cables. You can also view the instructions at www.genmarmfg.com .

| ANSWER: Our risers will only work up to the 2004 ZZR600. Starting with the 05, Kawasaki went to clip-on bars mounted below the top triple-clamp and our risers would no longer work. Sorry we couldn't help you out.

Or were the 1990 models different in the top clamp? The EX500 risers look pretty good, but there is something about them that looks different to the clipon's base. Maybe the extra hole? |

The K-109 risers will only fit the ZX-6E from 1990 on. There was a fork tube diameter change in 1990 and the risers will not work on the previous years.

Our K-109 risers only fit the ZZR600 up to the 04 model. I'm not sure if this holds true for the Australian version. On the 05 model here in the states, Kawasaki went the clip-0n style handlebars below the top triple clamp. If your handlebars are mounted on top of the triple-clamps, the K-109 risers will work. We do ship to Australia daily.
