QUESTION: Hi' I've bought your lowering kit for my XVS - but there's no installation instructions. The kit can be seen 1cruiser.com/sa/p/LOWERINGKIT_YAM_XVS_650_CLASS.htm At this moment I've removed the shock from the bike and removed the spring. 1) the new alu bush -does this have to be placed in the "bottom" - under the spring? And if Yes should I remove the original plastic bush placed here? The Alu bush can't seem to pass the top of the cylinder. Theres a kind of nut there should this be removed aswell? Kind regards, Henrik

ANSWER: The manufacturer does not offer installation instructions. The US distributor advises everyone to have an authorized mechanic do all installs. Thanks

QUESTION: How much lower does this make the bike ,and how do you fit it?

ANSWER: This will lower your bike 1.5inches in the rear. I would recommend that you have an authorized yamaha dealer do the install. Thanks
