Suzuki GSX1300 Hayabusa (1999-2007) 31.75mm (1.25 inch) handlebar risers

The risers are placed between the fork crown and the handlebars to raise the bars up 1 1/4" (38mm). This is approximately double the riser height of part# S122. This will help to relieve wrist and neck pain on long rides. We recommend rerouting the choke cable to remove cable tension when the handlebars are turned to full right or left.

QUESTION:  Do you have this item in stock? Thanks.

    ANSWER:
QUESTION:  hi.riser for gsx1300 2004 model.i'm ordering from Malaysia. How much is the shipment cost & how long will it take to arrive? thank you and have a nice day
    ANSWER:
QUESTION:  alex again...my busa its a 06!the only thing i did is leave everything in place the way it was...just slide the bar riser between forks and handlebars!correct?do i have to take the rubber bushings and put them somowhere else?thanks!ill wait for some instructions!
ANSWER:  The bushings will stay in the same place and the risers will sit on top of them. Thank you, Scott-GenMar
QUESTION:  its alex again!i just install the 1 1/4 risers and its not an easy thing!first you do have to reroute the cluch cable(too tight)the cluch reservoir and assembly have to be push down about 1/8(lever will touch fairing and reservoir touch windshild)even if you push inside 1/8 the brake assembly the cable is to tight(release clamp from the fork that holds the brake cable)when screw the bolts at 14 the handlebars feel like are moving when pushed down!its that normal or i did something wrong?i install exactly as the instruction said.let me know!thanks!
ANSWER:  Hi Alex, What year is your Busa? The bars should feel solid with the risers installed. you might check that you have the rubber bushings in place correctly. You can go up to 18 ft. lbs on the bolts. Thank you, Scott-GenMar
QUESTION:  hi!alex again...i receive the bar risers...on the application chart is a little confuzing to me(english is my second language)which on is the front bolt?the way i understand the directions is to unscrew the 4 bolts and slide the bar riser and screw back the 4 bolts provided with the risers, correct?thanks!i have a 06 busa!do i need to reroute or adjust anything?is the brake assembly moving 1/8 up?down?inside?please help dont wanna mess up the instalation!thanks!
ANSWER:  Hi Alex, The front bolts are the bolts closest to the headlight. You will not have to reroute any of the control cables. You will want to move the brake assembly to the inside about 1/8" this keeps the brake reservoir from touching the wind screen. Thank you, Scott-GenMar
QUESTION:  hi!i took a tape messure and went up 1 1/4 up from the stock handle bars, brake fluid..etc and in any possition the controlls will touch the windscreen and plastics!are you sure it works?i have a 06 busa..can you please let me know or send a picture or describe to me how this bar riser will contradict a tape messure?thanks alex.
ANSWER:  Hi Alex, The risers come up on the same angle as the fork tubes. They do not raise the bars straight up. This gives us the extra clearance we need for the 1 1/4" risers. Only the brake assembly will need to be adjusted about 1/8". Thank you, Scott-GenMar
QUESTION:  What is the current status of your bar risers for the 2008 Busa in both the .75 and 1.25 inch rise?
ANSWER:  Hi, We currently have both heights available and ready to ship. They are essentially the same as the previous versions just shaped slightly different. We should have the on the web site this week. Thank you, Scott-GenMar

ANSWER:  We should have our new riser for the 08 Busa right after the first of the year. Thanks for the inquiry, Scott-GenMar
QUESTION:  Hi, Can Suzuki GSX1300 Hayabusa (all years) 31.75mm handlebar risers S-123 be fitted on 2007 hayabusa? will I have to change accelerator cable etc? or just adjust the angle? How much is shipping for India Navi Mumbai?
ANSWER:  Hi, You can use the S-123 riser on a 07 Busa without having to change any of the control cables. No modifications to the bike will have to be made to install the S-123 risers. Thanks for the inquiry, Scott-GenMar

ANSWER:  Hi, Shipping to Spain is $11.00 and generally takes 7-10 days to arrive. You will not have to change any of the control cables, hoses, or levers. Thanks for the inquiry, Scott-GenMar
QUESTION:  Hi, I was wondering if y use the s-123 to lower 1 1/4 on the front of 2006 hayabusa it is OK to lower the back 2 inches? Thanks.
ANSWER:  Hi, We have a bunch of customers using the S-123 risers to lower the front of the Busa. They are also lowering the rear end of the bike as well. If you lower the bike properly, you will not have any problems lowering the rear 2". Thanks for the inquiry, Scott-Genmar
QUESTION:  I am very close to the world's most inept installer of anything which includes cars, motorcycles and around the home. I installed the 1 1/4 inch risers in less than 30 minutes on my 06 Busa Limited. Wonderful delivery, 3 days and a great product with excellent results.
ANSWER:  Thank you for the positive feedback. It is always appreciated. Thanks again, Scott-GenMar
QUESTION:  will these risers fit an 08 busa?
ANSWER:  Hi, The 08 Busa handlebar set-up is slightly different than previous years. We are going to make a bike specific riser for the 08 Busa that should be out in the next 3-4 weeks. Thanks for the inquiry, Scott-GenMar
QUESTION:  last question, i read that when using risers, it puts tension on the throttle and choke cables and may cause the rpms to shoot up unexpectedly at full turn on the bars. If you also lower the forks fully into the risers, would this release that tension, and put the cables back into the normal position/tension ???
ANSWER:  You will not have any trouble with the cables if you lower the forks into the risers. Thank you, Scott-Genmar
QUESTION:  I have a 00 busa. It looks as though these can be used to lower the bike as well if you raised the forks into the riser. Is there any clearance issues preventing the bike from being lowered 1 1/4 with this riser. I dont see it advertised as a lowering mod, so i had to ask.... thanks in advance
ANSWER:  Hi, We have had many customers use our risers to lower the front of the Busas. You can lower the front end nearly the entire 1 1/4" without any clearance problems. Thanks for the inquiry, Scott-GenMar
QUESTION:  will the 38mm fit my 06 busa?
ANSWER:  Hi, Our S-123 risers will fit the 06 Busa with no changes to the control cables. Thanks for the inquiry, Scott-GenMar
QUESTION:  would your s122 fit on a 1993 GSXR 1100 its set up exactly like the Busa? jay
ANSWER:  Hi Jay, The S-122 risers will not fit on the 93 GSXR1100. The risers and the triple clamp look very similar but the bolt hole spacing and shape is different. Thanks for the inquiry, Scott-GenMar
QUESTION:  Can these risers be used in conjunction with HeliBars.
ANSWER:  You can use our 3/4" risers with Helibars, but the 1 1/4" risers will not work. There isn't enough clearance or slack in the control cables. Thanks for the inquiry, Scott-GenMar
QUESTION:  Hi, it's the guy with the hayabusa again. Okay, I understand that the cut outs go down and that the rubber bushings should be left in place. What about the metal washers that were installed originally? Should they be left on or taken off? The dealership took them, but otherwise the installation was done correctly. I really like your product, so please tell me what I should do with these washers? Thanks
ANSWER:  Hi, We usually put the washers back on the same way they came off. Thanks again, Scott-GenMar
QUESTION:  Hi, Thanks for the curtious and speedy service. The S122 riser makes a great improvement in my Hayabusa's handling. But since I installed I've been having bad handlebar vibrations. Each time I ride the pain and numbness gets worse, and I never experienced any vibration related problems in the past. I posted on the hayabusa message boards and four responded saying they have never had vibration trouble with their GenMar risers. The installation was done the dealership. Do you think they could have done something wrong? Do you have suggestions? I love the product but hate the vibrations. Thanks, Tekin
ANSWER:  Hi Tekin, There are some rubber bushings that are mounted under the stock handlebars. We have cut-outs in the risers to allow the bushing to be installed after the risers are in place. The only thing I can think of is that the shop did not put the bushings back in with the risers and that would cause the vibration. Also, you may check to make sure the bolts are torqued properly. If they are not tight, you would also get vibration. Vibration is not a common problem with the bar risers on the Busa. Thank you, Scott-GenMar
QUESTION:  does the s123 fit the 07 busa
ANSWER:  Hi, The S-123s will fit the 07 Busa. Thank you, Scott-GenMar
QUESTION:  Hi Scott just another question can you tell me if you have a 19mm and if you do, do you have it in stock as i'd like to purchase one please. thanks Dave
ANSWER:  Hi Dave, We are currently back-ordered on the S-122 risers until Wednesday. Thank you, Scott-Genmar
QUESTION:  Hi Scott i've got 2 questions for you can you tell me if the 38mm riser hits on anything and also can you tell me how much it cost to ship to Australia please. thanks Dave
ANSWER:  Hi Dave, In some cases the brake and clutch reservoirs will just barely touch the stock windshield. This is easily fixed by sliding the brake and clutch levers inward on the handlebars about 3/16". No major modifications necessary and installation usually takes around 15 minutes. Shipping to Australia is $10.00 and takes around 7 days to arrive. Thanks, Scott-GenMar
QUESTION:  I was wondering were you reroute the choke cable to on the s-123?
ANSWER:  Hi, You only have to reroute the choke on the 1999 Busa. After 1999, Suzuki changed the choke configuration and it is no longer needed. Thank you, Scott-GenMar
QUESTION:  Could you email me the cost to ship to the UK? Thanks Tony
    ANSWER:
QUESTION:  Do I use the standard bolts or does the riser come with longer bolts or do I need longer bolts to install it. I've got a 2004 SP Busa and these sound like they would fit my bike. Thank You.
ANSWER:  Hi, The risers come with all of the mounting hardware you will need for installation. Thank you, Scott-GenMar
QUESTION:  Given all the questions and all your knowledge is this the easiest way to get a little more comfort (height wise) without making major changes to a Hayabusa and does this change the value
ANSWER:  Hi, Our risers are the easiest to install on the market today. Installation usually takes 15-20 minutes with no changes or re-routes to the control cables necessary. The risers do not void any factory warranty related to the bike. Thank you, Scott-GenMar
QUESTION:   first off let me say Scott-GenMar I would hate to have your job. there is no way i could do it.people please "READ ALL THE QUESTIONS" then ask if you dont see it. sorry now to my question what is it made of Im sure Aluminum. if so whats the weight sorry im trying to loose a few pounds.
ANSWER:  Hi, The risers are made of 6061 billet aluminum. The S-123 risers weigh just over 3.5 pounds with the bolts. Thanks for the original question, Scott-GenMar
    QUESTION:  Is this riser 1-1/4" or 1-1/2"? (1-1/4" = 32mm, 1-1/2" = 38mm). Thank you - Taq
ANSWER:  The riser is 1 1/4". Thank you, Scott-GenMar
QUESTION:  Hello,Could you tell me why the 1-1/4" risers will not work with heli bars? Would it be a clearence problem with the resivors or just the factory lines would be to short? Thanks
ANSWER:  Hi, It is a problem with both actually. Some of the stock lines will have to be re-routed and some will need to be lengthened. Also, the reservoirs will hit as well as the bar ends will hit the fairing. Thank you, Scott-GenMar
QUESTION:  Hi do you ship to Australia Cheers Steve
ANSWER:  Hi Steve, We do ship to Australia daily. Thanks for the inquiry, Scott-GenMar

QUESTION:  It looks like the stock windscreen can stay in place? I assume it fits the 2006 Busa?
ANSWER:  Hi, The S-123 risers will fit the 06 Busa. You may have to slightly adjust the clutch and brake levers to keep the reservoirs from hitting the wind screen but it is a very small adjustment. Thank you, Scott-GenMar

When I install it on my 06 Busa, will I be able to slide the forks up through the riser allowing the fork to rest against the stock bar clamp? I would like to lower the front end of the bike using the riser.
ANSWER:  You can raise the fork tubes up into the riser. This will allow you to lower the front end of the bike 1 1/4". Thanks again, Scott-GenMar
QUESTION:  can i fit the s-123 and s-122 on my hayabusa together?
